Katie & Nick found me on Thumbtack. I’ll never forget the first time I talked to Katie on the phone and she described her wedding plans…….rustic theme, yellow bridesmaid dresses, groomsmen in white shirts and jeans, at the barn at windy pine, and LOTS of baby breath! It sounded amazing, and a dream come true for a Madison WI wedding photographer!
I met Katie & Nick a few weeks later, and we discussed all the wedding details and plans. They said they wanted to do engagement photos and that they would like to do them at Paradise Springs in the snow. (yay!)
Katie is a down-to-earth, laid back, sweet lady and Nick is crazy in love with her, caring and supportive. I can already tell they are meant to be together, and I’m so excited to photograph their wedding in June.
They met at Knuckleheads in Eagle, WI February 2013. We went there for bloody’s after this freezing cold engagement session to warm up.

Per Katie’s request, I gave her all the photos in black & white and sepia as well as color. Honestly, I was never a fan of sepia until I did these for her. I fell in love with sepia. :)
