My first time photographing a Greek Orthodox Church wedding. The day started at Hotel Red in Madison, for getting ready photos. The bride’s fur baby was present throughout the entire day.

The bride got dressed in the basement of the church and had a first touch with her groom.

The brides mother walked me through the ceremony and gave me tips of good areas of where to stand. Usually, I stand in the back and can get all of the important photos without being in the way of guests.

The ceremony was fascinating and beautiful. The church itself was stunning, with the chandelier and golden book.

Following the ceremony the couple went to a bar nearby for a shot prior to the reception. The reception was held in the backyard of the groom’s parent’s home. Gyros were on the menu, including delicious and authentic greek desserts.
