Prairie Du Chien Wedding photos

I went to college with Melissa’s older sister, Jenn. I also did Jenn’s engagement photos 2 years prior to this summer. Melissa had hired a friend to photograph her wedding day, but Jenn wanted me to do it. Melissa agreed to let me be the lead photographer. This was my 2nd wedding ever and I was so excited. The ceremony was held at a cute little church in Eastman, WI. However, everything else was in Prairie Du Chien. The weather was hot, muggy and overcast. I wanted to create something a bit more special for the bride & groom, so I switched out the gloomy background in one of the photos and put in something better. I will share the before & after below. The reception was held at Huckleberry’s, however I let the hired photographers finish the wedding photography as they ended up taking lead. Enjoy the following photos from my viewpoint!
