Synthia & Marco were married at the Paine Art Center outside in the gardens, on a hot Saturday in August. Prior to the ceremony, the couple did a “first touch” and exchanged cards and gifts with a door between them and without actually seeing each other.
After the ceremony, before the reception, the happy couple set aside 90 minutes for bride & groom portraits. Synthia’s uncle also let us use his vintage cutlass convertible. We took so many beautiful images, it’s hard to choose just a few to share.
Their wedding colors were light yellow, gold & ivory. They had a rustic/vintage theme, which was inspired by, as the bride said, “we are ‘old souls’ at heart.”
Besides getting married, Synthia was really looking forward to “Seeing Marco’s reaction as I walk down the aisle in my dress for the first time.” Her dress was gorgeous by the way. It was very vintage looking, ivory, with a gold underlay and lots of beading throughout.
The reception was held in the bride’s father’s backyard. They had a large tent, gold glitter, strings of lights and even a dance floor. After dinner and cutting the cake, the couple danced to “Can’t help falling in love with you” by Haley Reinhart for their first dance as husband & wife.
I wish Mr. & Mrs. Victoria many more years of happy married life! Enjoy the photos I captured!
