Up until June 2017, I turned down a lot of portrait requests, because I was working a full time job in addition to doing wedding photography. There just wasn’t enough time in my life to do all the things. However, since quitting my full time job this summer, I have had a LOT more time to devote to doing additional portraits.

While I do have a separate website devoted to portraits, I thought it might not hurt to blog a few portrait sessions here on my main website’s blog as well.

If you remember Ashley & Garrett from a couple session I did for them about 2 years ago, they are now married & expecting! (ok, I’m behind on blogging, so they actually have a baby now!)

We went to the UW Arboretum for a sunset session in July. Unfortunately, the mosquitos were AWFUL this year, and our hour long session was cut down to about 25 minutes. We still got some great shots, and here they are!
