This early September wedding was held on the beach overlooking Lake Michigan. We couldn’t have asked for a better day with better weather at Southport Beach House in Kenosha. Sunny, with a slight breeze. The groom’s mother does floral arrangements as a career and did a beautiful job at her son’s wedding. People were walking up to the ceremony site just to admire the beautiful flowers. The inside of the beach house has a sort of vintage feel to it. It has a gorgeous area for the bride to get ready in, with a lot of natural light.
The bride had a gorgeous chocolate diamond ring, and the groom’s wedding band had camo on it.
I love it when grooms cry while watching their bride walk down the aisle. It makes everything feel that much more “real”, sentimental and sweet.
During the reception, a random group of children made a heart shape in the sand with the flower petals that the flower girl had dropped. We took some photos of the bride and groom next to it after the reception.
The party ended with a beautiful sunset over lake michigan, complete with a sailboat and almost full moon.
Enjoy the photos I captured of their day. If you are interested in booking a wedding photographer for your wedding at the southport beach house in Kenosha WI or any wedding don’t hesitate to contact me via email: info@anna-alethia.com
