Beth and Zach found me on Thumbtack. I met with them in March in the Dells, and while we were discussing details, I knew this would be an amazing wedding celebration! Their colors were pink and lime green, they had this down to the very smallest detail. They said they were trying to get a permit to set off fireworks, and they for sure wanted to do sparkler photos. Zach told me I had to make sure to take photos of the pig roast they were having.
I asked one of my sisters, Dawn, to 2nd shoot the wedding with me. This was the first time I’d ever had my own second shooter, and it went so well that I’d highly recommend adding a 2nd photographer to any wedding photography package you book. I typically shoot with 2 cameras and 3-4 different lenses. I move fast, and am used to working alone. But having another photographer to capture additional moments and angles when I can’t possibly be in two places at once is priceless.

The day of the wedding, Beth was absolutely glowing. There were lots of tears during the ceremony, they did their own vows, and neither could stop smiling at each other. The wedding party was the most enthusiastic & silly wedding party I’ve had so far. Especially the guys, but it worked out for us! We did sparkler photos as it got darker, and even though Zach didn’t get a permit for fireworks, someone else set off fireworks. Oh and the pig roast was by far the best meal that I’ve had at a wedding so far!
