Hey Y’all, I’ve got a Harry Potter themed wedding on the blog today! It was held at Milford Hills in Johnson Creek.
Their hashtag was #MarryThisMuggle. Colors for the wedding were Red, blue, green & yellow.

This couple met via a Harry Potter fan forum so they keeping their story in the theme.

As I ask every couple, “Besides getting married -‐ what’s the one thing you are looking forward to on your wedding day?”
Jackson the groom: “The games, leading up to announcing the house cup!”
Brittany the bride: “Not gonna lie, the Harry Potter themed desserts.”

They did something a bit different than normal weddings, and they played games and quizzes almost like a bridal shower…but Harry Potter themed of course. There was no dancing, and each table was a team against the rest. My table’s team ended up with the most points and won the house cup.

It was the most unique wedding I’ve been to in a long time. I really enjoyed the Butter beer – that was just as how I imagined it from reading the HP books!

The couple ended the night with a sparkler exit. However, and note to to future couples who want to do a sparkler exit – make sure you purchase sparklers that are designed FOR weddings. The ones the venue supplied had more smoke than spark. Not as pretty as they could be.
