A beautiful wedding day in April at Ashton Hill Farms in Cedar Rapids. Unfortunately, mother nature decided to have it be 25 degrees and windy. So we got super creative with indoor photos, and luckily the inside of Ashton Hill was absolutely gorgeous. Lots of white walls with diffused window light. Even a loft with couches and rustic doors.

Their colors were lilac & mint green, with a rustic and vintage theme. Brittany made all of her own flower bouquets, and they looked very much realistic.

We did all the photos prior to the 6pm ceremony, and then there was cocktail hour prior to the ceremony. The happy couple was looking forward to having all of their family & friends together. I think that was achieved.

The couple already has two children together. During the bride/father dance, the groom started dancing with their daughter as well. Then part way through the dance, the DJ announced all fathers and daughters to join in the dance. During the groom/mother dance, the bride started dancing with their son, and then the DJ announced for all mothers to dance with their sons on the dance floor.

Despite the freezing weather, I did sneak outside briefly, (very super briefly) with the bride & groom for photos right before sunset. It was beautiful.
