Navy blue & light pink were the colors chosen for this beautiful late March wedding at Starved Rock Lodge in Oglesby IL. Their theme is inspired by our venue. Starved Rock lends itself to a rustic theme easily, with the exposed beams in the lodge, and beautiful surroundings in the state park.
Karl & Beth met 11 years prior to their wedding date, at Starved Rock, so it was very fitting for the two of them to get married there as well. It ended up being a beautiful day, slightly chilly, but no snow in sight!
They danced to “Never Stop” (Wedding Version) by Safety Suit as their first dance as Husband & Wife.
Besides getting married, they were looking forward to celebrating with their families the most. As I edited these gorgeous photos, I really feel like their love for each other can be seen right thru each image. So happy that they found each other and so excited to see what else their future holds!
In case you missed it, you can view their engagement photos here.
On to the photos then!
