Kate & Mike were married inside the shelter at Pratt’s Wayne Woods in Bartlett IL on a beautiful April day. Kate spent a lot of time at this park fishing with her father as a child. She originally wanted to be married by the water, but thanks to the rain on days leading up to their wedding day, it was too muddy to hold the ceremony there.
Their theme was based off of Kate’s love for the Chicago Bears and Mike’s love for the Minnesota Vikings. Unfortunately for them, I’m a total Green Bay Packer Fan. ;)
After the ceremony, we took photos by the water. Then we all headed to The Seville in Streamwood for the reception.
Prior to the wedding Kate told me that beisdes getting married, she was, “looking forward to seeing friends and family that I don’t always get to see including ones that are out of state.”
The happy couple danced to “Then” by Brad Paisley for their first dance as husband and wife.
