Amy & Noah met in high school and briefly dated, but were involved with so many extracurricular activities that took their attention in a different direction away from each other.

They both went through some difficult times and reunited as friends on Facebook. Noah decided to be brave and send Amy a message about homemade laundry detergent she was making. They proceeded to make small talk for about a month before he asked her to dinner. Amy figured it couldn’t hurt to see where this goes, so they went to Prohibition Bistro and conversation flowed. They still had many conversations that were similar and a connection was forming. Amy proceeded to be a little forward and gave him a small kiss goodnight.

The next date they went on, Noah took Amy to the Milwaukee car show to get approval from friends. They had a wonderful day and night with his friends. They continued to date for quite some time and talk frequently before introducing each other to their kids. Amy said, “The more time I spent with Noah I was convinced he was the one I wanted to be with for the rest of my life.” Noah took longer to see what they had going on, but very soon he was convinced he didn’t want to be without her either.

On December 25, 2016 Noah asked Amy “Will you marry me or will you not marry me?” Of course she said yes! All the children were asked if it was ok that they got married and they are all excited for the future.

Their favorite activity is just being together, and they enjoy kissing….something I noticed during the engagement session!
Amy said this of her most memorable date: “We went to dinner at the Water Street Brewery in Grafton, we had the official conversation about being exclusive. As we had a very romantic night and Noah talked a lot while in the background the song “I melt with you” by Modern English played.”

Now that you know their story, lets get to the photos! Amy wanted to do a 50’s themed session, and it was (unfortunately) supposed to rain all day. However, at the last minute, the rain decided to stop. (Yay!) We started outside the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, wandered downtown, and then headed to the waterfront/beach area.

Enjoy what I have captured and keep your eyes peeled for their wedding photos in July!
