Here it is, my first wedding of 2016! It’s been 7 months since I have photographed a wedding. While it was nice to have time off, I sure have missed it!

It was a hot and sticky day on June 18th, it actually felt like August, when Danielle & Michael said I do. Luckily, we were in the beautiful, air conditioned RiverGlen Christian Church in Waukesha, WI.
Danielle’s sister hired a wedding videographer, Nate Castner, as her wedding gift. It was a priceless wedding gift, and it was a breeze working with Nate.
Michael was so, so, so, so happy seeing his bride for the first time walking down the aisle.
In place of a unity candle the couple chose to tie three cords together. I honestly teared up a little bit as I watched them, they are truly perfect for each other.
After the ceremony, we drove to Retzer Nature Center for additional photos.
Danielle & Michael met at UW-Whitewater, so the reception was held at 841 Brewhouse in Whitewater. Gorgeous location, lots of chandeliers and each centerpiece incorporated Ball caning jars and Widmer wine bottles. The colors were purple and silver, the bride’s favorite colors. The DJ, Shawn Marcouiller from Center Stage Entertainment was fabulous! Very much on top of his game and keeping the schedule on time. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top notch DJ.
