Melissa & Scott were referred to me by Melissa’s older sister Christen. Christen is getting married in 7 weeks and hired me as her photographer also. :)
The theme for their wedding was snowflakes, with the colors of dark blue & white/silver. The ceremony and reception were held at Grace Baptist Church here in Madison. They engraved the inside of the wedding bands to say “Love & Friendship”. Melissa said they both liked a poem called “Love” and another one called “Friendship”.
She also wrote out how they first met on November 30th, 2012. In her words, “We nervously began to work together and I soon evaluated him as quiet and observant with an unreadable face. I was sure that he was unimpressed, which made me work like a dog out of sheer desperation to do a good job. Finally, I began to talk while we worked, just to ease my own nervousness. He was less scary when he smiled, and upon discovering this I set out to make him smile often. I joke, was sarcastic, teased even, and his laugh was the first thing I fell for….”
