Scott and Lyndsay both love the woods and outdoors. They wanted to somehow incorporate that into their engagement/family photos. We received a lot of rain in October, so we chose a random day in the middle of the week and ran with it. It was a cloudy, wet day for the session, but luckily the rain held off and the sun even peeked through the clouds after a while. We started at the covered bridge over Cedar Creek. After doing quite a few photos there, we headed to Isle of Ferns park for more photos. Their March 2015 wedding theme is pinecones. We looked for pinecones to incorporate into ring shots, but only had a pine tree to use. Lyndsay has a special ring with a heart cut out on the side. I haven’t seen a ring like that yet.
They said they met thru Scott’s sister, and were Facebook friends for a while before meeting. They found me on Thumbtack, and I’m really excited to branch out and do more sessions/weddings farther north. I love being in Wisconsin and taking photos all over.
After working with the two of them and their 6 year old son, I can tell they are made for each other, they both compliment each other well.
Enjoy the photos I captured of them on the late autumn day. I am very much looking forward to their wedding in March and seeing how they incorporate pinecones into the fine details.
