Abbey met Paul while she was attending UW-La Crosse. She bought a bike from him and he emailed her later and asked to take her out. The rest is history!

Last weekend we met in Pickwick Minnesota for the engagement session. Paul is a volunteer firefighter, so we started at the fire house for photos. It was freeeeeezing outside, (literally 12 degrees) but inside the fire house it was toasty warm. They have a lot more snow than we do in Madison WI.

Next we headed over to the Pickwick Mill. We were escorted by a few other firefighters who had the key to the mill. Even though we were inside, it was still cold. Outside the mill there is a dam that was partially frozen — which made for some sweet photos.

Then, we took a drive with Adam, one of the firefighters. He took us to an overlook that we could see all the way to Arcadia, WI. Talk about an epic location for photos!

I had a lot of fun on this little tour of Pickwick and it was a blast working with Abbey & Paul. I’m excited for their wedding in La Crescent/Onalaska this November! :)
