Ben grew up in Arizona. After he reconnected with Christen and they fell in love, they planned a gorgeous rustic ranch styled wedding in a church. You can read all about their love story and view their engagement photos here.
The wedding was held in the church that I went to as a child. My parent’s actually helped build the building of Fellowship Baptist Church many years ago. This was the first time I’ve been back inside the building in about 22-ish years. It looks a lot smaller to me now. However, I had glimpses of memories from the nursery to running around through the hallways and up and down stairs to Awana in the basement.
They built a ranch style gate for the entry way into the church. I loved all the details they chose to carry on their theme, it was a lot of fun photographing this wedding.
After the ceremony, Ben & Christen couldn’t take their eyes off each other or stop kissing. It’s probably the first wedding I’ve done where I’ve seen this happen. Christen’s dress was lacy and beautiful, plus she got a really good deal on it. The wedding day was sunny, and 50+ degrees with no snow. :) Christen was the maid of honor in her sister’s wedding back in January, you can view those photos here.
