They met one night in college at a log cabin themed bar bumping elbows while waiting to get a beer.
They struck up a conversation and went their separate ways.

But they continued to bump into one another. Corrina found it funny that they shared the same birthday exactly two years apart and asked him out on a date to the Riverside Festival for the 4th of July weekend where Josh Thompson was expected to perform.

They hung out on and off for about a month when he finally asked to make them an official relationship. Its been six years and counting with many memories and adventures along the way.

The Proposal:

One Saturday in late September up in Land O’Lakes WI, they were helping his grandfather secure the cabin for the winter before he would make his usual winter trip down to Florida. They were enjoying a much needed break on the back deck over looking his late grandmothers memorial flower garden reminiscing with some of his family when the thoughts of dinner started to buzz. As everyone started on their way to help prepare the evening meal he pulled her close for a hug. Parker asked her, “Do you like it up here?” “Yes,” she replied. “Do you like my family?” As she responded yes to his question he started to kneel as he fumbled to pull a ring from his pocket. “Do you want to be apart of it?” YES!! Lots of tears were shed as they hugged and she tried to let reality sink in, staring endlessly at the beautiful ring he placed on her finger when he whispered he wanted his late grandmother to be apart of our engagement.

As for me, I’ve known Corrina almost my whole life. We grew up going to the same church and I was pretty close with her older sister. We’ve been facebook friends for years, and Corrina fell in love with my work. I’m so excited that I am available for their wedding date as they are a super fun couple to be around. Oh and they are very much still in love! :)
