I am thrilled to announce Ashley & Adam’s marriage and share their wedding photos. These two met in college at UW-Whitewater and have been together for 8 years. In case you missed it, you can view their autumn engagement photos at High Cliff Park here.
The weather was gorgeous for a July wedding. The wedding colors were Purple and Grey. Ashley said this was inspired by purple being her favorite color, and grey is a nice compliment to that. Then she looked at flowers and didn’t want purple flowers, so she choose bright colors instead; Pinks & Yellows.
The ceremony was held at St. Joseph’s Parish in Appleton, it has a gorgeous sanctuary.
After the ceremony and family photos, the wedding party & happy couple traveled to Peabody Park in Appleton for more photos. Adam and his siblings used to go sledding at that park when they were kids.
After photos, everyone met at the reception venue; Romy’s Nitingale in Black Creek. After dinner there were toasts and a slideshow of photos of the couple as they grew up. Before the first dances we snuck outside for some photos while the sun was setting, and also attempted to get a photo of all Adam’s nieces and nephews who were present.
Adam & Ashley danced to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart for their first dance song. Ashley & her father did a choreographed dance to “Come on Eileen”.
During the garter toss – when Adam went to get the garter there was a Smirnoff ice in there. Ashley said, “it is a long running joke with all of our friends group to ice each other at important events.”
Besides getting married, the couple was looking forward to seeing family and friends that are coming from out of state/far away to be with them. They were also excited to see the final product of all of their hard work putting the wedding together. And here we are, viewing the photos of their beautiful wedding day. Enjoy!
